As promised, I am finally getting my pictures posted of the rug I did at Thw Woolley Fox. It was a great time as usual! This is a pattern taken from an antique rug that Barb owns. It is a remarkable old rug. I was very excited & packed plenty of wool, but as expected, the rug's color story has us digging through Barb's wool stash as well. I just love building rugs with her. I learn something new every time. After three days, my rug was nearly finished. After we returned I travelled with Larry to vend in Saline, MI. This gave me an entire evening alone uninterrupted in a hotel room to finish it. I love the way it came out. After I returned home, I was still on a roll & hooked up this little Edyth O'Neill pattern "Cricket Whale". This pattern is also available from Barb. I will be posting pictures of class later. Don't forget that this is hook-in Saturday at Aults. See you there!

I love that rug, Julie! It is so "old" looking. The colors are beautiful! I am so glad you brought it too Ann Arbor last week. It will look so nice in your home!
Thanks Bobbie! You are so sweet. I was on Ault's blog today & saw there hook-in is starting at 10 not 11, till whenever. One of these days I'll get it right! Are you & Melissa coming?
Julie, your rug is BEAUTIFUL! I've always admired that pattern. I'm heading up for Barb's open house on Wednesday and just may have to make a splurge!!!! Great job!

Like you, my wife's very much fond of flower baskets. I know some florists in Calgary who have been my Canadian friend's supplier for quite some time now, and she said that every time she orders from them, their designs take her breath away. My wife and I have seen some of them in pictures, and they looked gorgeous indeed. They actually inspired my wife to do some of my own flower arranging at home!
